On the Seattle Marches:
Since Friday November 27th and on through Friday December 4th, a variety of workshops, concerts, debates and rallies have been on-going. Thursday December 2nd for example, was "Food and Agriculture Day." There was a series of workshops, a news conference (in response to the administrations WTO discussions this week) and a rally. There has been a wealth of information to be had and more events and activities then one person could possible attend.
The marches in Seattle were peaceful. Only a handful of rough guyes, dubbed "marauders", broke windows etc and they weren't part of the march. The police got rough as well and the media took only those close-ups.
Over the coming week I plan to post mine as well as other first hand observations of the Seattle events.
The biggest "Battle in Seattle" has been getting the information out.
